We are massively excited to announce that as part of this year's festival we will be hosting a special event for none other than bestselling author Matthew Reilly.
Matthew is one of the true stars of the Australian writing scene and a hero to many aspiring authors having begun his career in self-publishing, before being discovered by a trade publisher and moving on to sell 170,000 copies of his first trade published book. Since then he has sold over 3.5 million books worldwide and had the movie rights optioned for several of his titles.
Matthew has been on our wish-list of most wanted authors since the festival first began and we are delighted to finally have the opportunity to showcase the talent of this awesome Aussie author and be one of the first to launch his upcoming novel, The Tournament.
Just a reminder that there are only 10 days left to get your entries in for our Picture Book Manuscript and Illustration Competitions. With well-respected publishers and agents as our final judges this year it's a great opportunity to get your work noticed and get that all-important foot in the door.
